The Queens Hat/Handbag Lesson Idea - Write a diary entry about the windswept hat or thieving swan!

Pupils at Littleport Primary School in Cambridgeshire each wrote a diary entry about what happened when the Queen lost her hat. The diary entry doesn't necessarily have to be from The Queen's point of view. It can be from the point of view of a pirate that's lost his or her hat to the wind, a knight, a mermaid, or whatever you like! 

Below are some of the brilliant diary entries written by pupils at Littleport Primary. You could apply the same activity to The Queen’s Handbag, in which a thieving swan swoops off with The Queen's handbag (and, again, the object doesn't have to be a handbag).
