Famous Five

For the 70th Anniversary Edition of The Famous Five, Hachette Children’s reprinted a number of Famous Five books featuring new covers by an array of top illustrators. Steve was invited to illustrate the cover of book 11: Five Have A Wonderful Time. Only a limited number were printed.

In book eleven, the Famous Five are on an adventurous holiday in horse-drawn caravans. They discover a ruined castle that looks deserted. But is that a face at the window? Or is it a trick of the light?
