THE QUEEN’S Hat SERIES

Simply inspired by a silly photograph, there are four picture books in The Queen Collection which feature famous landmarks from London, all of the UK and beyond! The success of the first book completely surprised me, and off of the back of its popularity I launched a nationwide campaign to raise awareness of Colourblindness which featured on the BBC. Charitable projects inspired by this series raised around 20k for charities around the UK, including Wallace and Gromit’s Children’s Charity, Beanstalk, Willow Foundation, myAFK and the National Literacy Trust. Creating these books has been fun, but there will not be any more sequels as I am focusing on other projects.

The Queen Collection can be found in all good bookshops and maybe even your library, too. Part one was nominated for the Kate Greenaway Medal, won the Oscar’s Book Prize and was shortlisted for the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize. It was also adapted into a musical by the London Symphony Orchestra. Scroll down to see all the books alongside illustrations.
